Dear Reader:

What a special edition November is. Our two New Faces are special guys. Andre Lee Ellis continues to make a difference in the lives of young men in his neighborhood. His impact through the establishment of the Victory Garden will be felt for sometime to come.

And former Green Bay Packer middle linebacker, George Koonce is building bridges in education. His vision was to bring college to those who have toiled in their respective endeavors for years and years; people who may have missed the opportunity to go to college as young people, but still have the desire to learn and grow.

They can do that now thanks to George and Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. For both of these men, “It’s never too late to achieve your dream…” is more than just a good thought, it’s real and the two of them make good things happen for people everyday.

We’re proud to present Andre and George in this month’s edition of Brain Brawn & Body. Along with these two outstanding gentlemen we have a host of wonderful articles that will help you live a healthier life.

You should know that, surprisingly, young adults are suffering strokes more frequently than once thought. Learn how you or that young person in your life can avoid strokes and hearth disease in Stroke and the Toll They Take on Younger Adults.

This month we also publish an insightful story on coronary artery disease and its affects on women. Don’t miss it.
Our piece on Lung Cancer Prevention and Awareness lets you know this dreaded disease can be avoided. Pick up some helpful tips right here.

When it comes to nutrition, there are 5 Seeds You Need to Eat to achieve good health. We’ve got them listed. You need to have them on your plate.

Feeling a little down in the dumps lately? Well, a Little Mental Health Screening Could Have a Big Impact When it Comes to Depression. Read it and know more and who knows, maybe you’ll feel better.

And there is so much more in this month’s Brain Brawn & Body. Take your time and browse every section of the website. You’ll be better for it!
