April 1, 2014 - Health and Wellness Website Brain Brawn & Body Announces "New Faces" for April

Milwaukee, WI (April 1, 2014) Brain Brawn & Body, the unique website that focuses on the health and wellness of African American men, announces its New Faces for April.

Akil Huntley-Cooper and Troy Sparks adorn the homepage of the website this month. They follow the “New Faces” of March, Dr. Tito Izard and photographer Dennis McMurray.

Huntley-Cooper is an entrepreneur who believes in being a positive influence on other people – especially his kids. Akil plays basketball, is an avid runner and lifts weights. He even likes to mix it up in spinning classes!

Troy is a sports writer, keeping busy penning articles for three publications. He’s finally taking a breath with March Madness winding up. But Troy doesn’t just write about hoops, he plays a bit too and has for some time. He played college ball at MATC and Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.

Like Akil, Troy is a runner and looks to compete in the Senior Olympics next year when he turns 50.

“We are proud to have both of these men as our ‘New Faces’ for April,” said Brain Brawn & Body publisher, Eric Von. “They exemplify our ideal image…smart, active and engaged in living the healthy lifestyles we encourage on the website. They are an inspiration to all who meet them.”

Each month Brain Brawn & Body will present two “New Faces” on the website’s homepage. Get to know the men on the Personal Profiles page on the site.
